TrueCrypt is a really good freeware open-source utility used for on-the-fly encryption, but shit happens. Government, money or bad guys? It doesn’t matter now. In any case, I would not recommend to follow the advice “Migrate from TrueCrypt to BitLocker” as it’s said on the http://truecrypt.sourceforge.net/.

In order to become the real hacker, you simply have to read and understand these books. I will regularly add books to this list.
